St Agnes Surf School Terms and Conditions

The Booking

When booking a course or lesson, a contract is made when the booking is confirmed in writing by St. Agnes Surf School. Payment in full is due at the time of booking. The person signing the booking form accepts responsibility for payment for everyone listed on the booking and is responsible for ensuring that all other persons listed on the booking form read these Terms and Conditions and that they are aware of the booking details. All participants must complete the attached declaration before they will be allowed to take part in any surf lessons. St. Agnes Surf School do not accept any liability for any loss caused by failure to complete the declaration.

Changing your booking

St. Agnes Surf School will make every effort to organise any changes requested after the booking has been confirmed, providing it is more than 21 days before the start of the lesson or course date. No course or lesson changes will be accepted after this time. Changes are subject to availability of course places.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be made in writing and will be effective on the date received by St. Agnes Surf School. Cancellation charges are payable as follows.

Course Participation, Liability and Other Information

Surfing carries a degree of risk both to people and property, even if enjoyed under proper supervision by qualified instructors. It is also a physically demanding activity that requires those taking part to have a reasonable level of fitness and swimming ability.

All course members must therefore make us aware of any medical conditions, illnesses or allergies they may have and any prescribed medication they are taking on the booking form at the time of booking. No one should participate in any surfing lesson if they are suffering from a heart condition or if they are pregnant. All course members must be able to swim at least 25 metres and must in no circumstances be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication at the time of the lesson which may adversely affect their physical abilities.

All course members must agree to abide to all instructions and decisions that St. Agnes Surf School and its instructors make in order to secure the safety and comfort of all participants. Course members will have the use of St. Agnes Surf School equipment during their lesson(s). While St. Agnes Surf School takes all reasonable measures to ensure the safety and good condition of that equipment, course members are responsible for immediately reporting any damage caused to St. Agnes Surf School equipment or which becomes apparent whilst the equipment is in their possession. St. Agnes Surf School does not seek to limit or exclude any liability for personal injury or loss of life which may occur as a result of its own negligence or that of its employees, officers or agents. However, St. Agnes Surf School assumes no liability in respect of any personal injury, loss, damage, consequential loss or third party claims which occur through no fault of its own, its employees, officers or agents. All other liability or conditions implied by law are excluded to the fullest extent possible.

Surf Conditions

In the rare event that St. Agnes Surf School considers sea conditions to be unsuitable for surf instruction, a credit voucher will be issued. Credit for any lessons owed can be used within a one year period from the date of the cancelled lesson or course. Any lessons owed must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. No refunds will be given.

Accommodation

St. Agnes Surf Information section is intended as a guide only. St. Agnes Surf School accept no responsibility for organising accommodation or problems arising from course partcipants accommodation arrangements.

Brochure and Website Accuracy

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of St. Agnes Surf School's brochure and website, it is intended as only a guide to the services it provides and St. Agnes Surf School is relieved of any liability due to any errors or omissions it may contain, or any minor descrepancies between the brochure or website's content and that service.

Prices

The prices printed displayed on this website and any related business stationery are valid at the time of publication. St. Agnes Surf School reserves that right to increase or decrease any of these prices any time after publication. Any variations will be made clear at the time of booking.
