Ma Stooge, his long suffering wife is having an affair with the Rev Palmer; and she decides to throw a small intimate Christmas party.

The son of Peter and Ma, one Frankie, is in attendance with his girlfriend Busty. Just recently Busty had ended her previous 'relationship' with Peter.

The Rev Palmer is running a racket ion the town with Peter Stooge but he is about to change his allegiance to a rival undertaker Frank who will pay more in backhanders.

Things start to hot up when the recently bereaved, Derek Flour, the local baker turns up - who was at Oxford with Frank. He is in mourning for his wife who has recently passed away but all may not be as it seems after the post mortem which was secretly carried out by Peter Stooge. Will then threat of blackmail to keep quiet about the findings of the post mortem keep matters under wraps, or will something more sinister arise. But hold on, has Derek Flour killed before?

Then the old Oxford professor in the ancients and their mummification procedures happens to turn up. So what is the connection between Professor Walter Jenkins and Peter and Ma Stooge. He was also the the tutor to Frank and Derek. And what of Felicity now married to Frank - but she had an illegitamate child, many years ago whilst conducting an affair with Peter!

Many want Peter Stooge dead, but who did the fatal dead? Was he murdered in three different ways? Only an expert in the techniques of mummification can unravel this mystery - whilst dressed as Santa Claus.
